Yesterday I drove with Skåthi to Hermelinda from Cattery Catsheavens in Belgium. I brought Skåthi already to Monty, because in my Cattery our Charlie was attacking Skåthi all the time. In some strange way Charlie was only triggered by Skåthi to attack her. The result was a lot of stress in my group of cats. And  for Ronja it definitely gave too much stress. Hermelinda offered me to let Skåthi stay in her Cattery and meet Monty, untill she will be pregnant by him. But yesterday Hermelinda told me that Skåthi loves to be with Makene, the half-sister of our Pippa, and she is very much in love with McGyver an other male of Hermelinda. But he’s polydactyl and so is Skåthi so they can’t be together. Sorry Skåthi, but Monty is your only male! We hope that in a couple of months Skåthi and Monty eventually will have al lot of fun together. So we can looking forward to a next litter!

Ronja is 8 weeks pregnant now and since her belly is going to be bigger I can feel the kittens moving inside. Especially when she is laying down in her favorite position, streched out on the couch next to us. Ronja is a very sweet and relaxed female. She is very sweet to us, but also to all the other cats. She is going to be a wonderful mom. One week to go and we shall know.

Today I received some new pictures of our beautiful and sweet Monty in the snow. Hermelinda told me that he didn’t like to walk and play in the snow at all. He sure is a beautiful and big cat. Thanks Hermelinda for taking so good care for Monty!

Today I went to the vet with Ronja. She confirmed the pregnancy of Ronja. She has to be very careful with the palpation, because mother and kittens could be damaged if not. The exact number of kittens is to hard to be determined at this time, but she thinks there at least 4 kittens. The kittens could be born from February 5th.

Ronja from Sweden! December 12th 2009 I did fly to Sweden to pick up my new breeder female Ronja. She is from Cattery Nordic Pixiebobs from Mari Ylitalo in Enköping. I hope she will have kittens early in February. Before she came to me, she has been bred to the beautiful male Baron from Mari. It looks like she is pregnant from Baron, her nipples are more big and pink now. Tomorrow I will go to the vet with her to get the confirmation of her pregnancy by my vet. So hopefully tomorrow I can tell you the good news. Ronja is a very sweet and relaxed female. During the flighttrip with her in the cabin she was very quiet and relaxed.
